Calls for Entry:
32nd Annual National Print Exhibition at Artlink
Submission deadline: January 11, 2012
Exhibit dates: April 13 – May 23, 2012
ELIGIBILITY: All artists, at least 18 years of age, residing in U.S. are eligible. All original printmaking media are eligible. No photography, computer generated or digitally altered prints will be accepted.
JUROR and AWARD SELECTOR: Ladislav Hanka earned an MFA in 1981; he has had close to 100 solo shows. Mr. Hanka’s work is in about 100 public collections worldwide. The archive of his etchings, books, proofs & documentation is in Special Collections: Western Michigan University. Mr. Hanka draws and etches, working from observed experience, examining the fish and the frogs, trees & fungi in recurrent themes of life, death and transfiguration – nature as the crucible in which the artist finds a reflection of his own life and meaning. AWARDS: Cash awards totaling $2,500 will be presented. All exhibitors will receive a catalogue.

Self Portrait Exhibition
Deadline to participate – November 30, 2011
Exhibit Dates - January 20 – February 22, 2012
Eligible artwork shall depict the artists likeness or self-portrait. Artwork must have been created by the artist in the last two years and all media is acceptable. Artists may submit one piece to Artlink for consideration.

Call for Portfolios: Artlink Artist Members
Deadline – December 30, 2011
Available exhibition dates in March 2012 - July 2013.
Current Artlink Artist Members are invited to submit 5 jpg images that represent a body of their work. This artwork will be considered for the Betty G. Fishman Gallery and is open to two dimensional work and some wall hanging 3 dimensional artwork.

Artlink Artwork Criteria:
Artlink considers the following four elements when selecting or accepting artwork for exhibitions. Approved by the Artist Panel on January 12, 2009
1. Consistency of work presented by the artist.
Artwork presents a consistent theme or technique of media.
2. Quality of work presented.
Artwork should demonstrate craftsmanship, attention to detail, professional presentation.
3. Creativity or Conceptual quality of work.
Submitted artwork should be creative in its content and overall projected meaning.
4. Artwork submitted must relate to the theme or intent of the exhibition as indicated in each prospectus/call for entry.
