Figure Drawing Sessions For adults: ongoing figure-drawing sessions are held twice weekly at Artlink. Sessions are intended for professional and amateur artists, and university students. Held Monday & Wednesday evenings from 7-10 p.m., a minimal charge of $2 per hour covers the cost of the model. Adult Workshops at USF Cyanotype & Vandyke Brown Printing June 1-5, 2009 With Cara Wade Learn how to print cyanotype (or blueprints) and Vandyke brown prints named after the painter. Used since the mid-1800s the process entails painting chemical solutions onto watercolor paper or fabric, using sunlight for exposure and finish with water rinse. Neither process needs a darkroom! Use your digital files for both processes.  Fee of $250 for Artlink members, $275 for non-members; plus $25 for supplies is required with enrollment form. Sculpting with Cement June 22-26, 2009 With Mary Klopfer Mary is back to sculpt with you using Portland cement, a fine & malleable material. Learn armature building, how to mix cement and steel wool enabling the cement to be sculpted like clay. The material is inexpensive, durable, permanent and can be brought to a high polish.  Fee of $250 for Artlink members, $275 for non-members is required with enrollment form.
