Artlink Artist Panel
The Artist Panel is a volunteer panel of 10-12 practicing artists, art educators, and curators from Fort Wayne and the surrounding region. These artists are instrumental in helping Artlink to achieve its mission and are active in planning and assisting with exhibitions and programming. The Artist Panel serve as champions for the organization. Artists will serve on the panel for one fiscal year with the opportunity to serve two consecutive terms. The Artist Panel meets on a monthly basis for 1-2 hours and serve in several capacities.
Serve the Gallery Coordinator in an advisory capacity with exhibitions and outreach.
Assist the Gallery Coordinator during exhibition set up, opening night, and exhibition tear-down, as needed.
Serve as jurors for select exhibitions per the discretion of the Gallery Coordinator. Artist Panel members will review and select all 2020 exhibitions.
Assist Artlink staff with outreach and events such as Drawn Together, The Art Market, and Taste of the Arts.
Attend monthly Artist Panel meetings on the 2nd Tuesday of the month from 5:30-6:30pm. If absent, read meeting minutes and participate in dialogue via email or meet with the Gallery Coordinator one-on-one.
Regularly attend Artlink exhibition openings and programs.
Support Artlink by helping to spread the word about exhibitions, programs, artist opportunities, membership, and more.
Volunteer at Artlink events and programs.
