Adam Beltz is a self-taught artist born in Indiana. Growing up, he expressed himself through skateboarding, drawing, and painting. After high school he was invited to California by a skateboard brand as a sponsored rider. In his twenties Adam took an interest in the spiritual books of India and considered a life as a Sannyasi, a type of Hindu monk. He visited with Sannyasis and adopted a monastic existence of his own, living in an artist community where his time was dedicated to meditation and painting. His work at the time was highly influenced by the colors and imagery of India. He spent the next few years between India and London living either in or near an ashram. Adam currently works out of a studio in Indiana, where he makes stark pieces of mixed media that distill the ever changing characteristic of his surrounding environment with the monastic minimalism of his past.

Brooke Rothshank is a Studio Artist from Goshen, Indiana. She and her husband Justin Rothshank, a potter, share a workspace in their their rural home studio. Brooke began painting dollhouse miniatures in 2007 using oil, acrylic and egg tempera after a scholarship to attend the International Guild of Miniature Artisans introduced her to 1/12 scale painting. Today, she is the parent of three kids under 10. Her current miniature work is primarily watercolor making it easy to start, stop and clean up during her morning studio hours. She enjoys quirky miniature commissions and collaborative projects. Her current collaboration with Justin is about abundance and invloves detailed paintings with underglaze on platters that Justin has made.

Brooke’s work has been featured in both Miniature Collector and Dollhouse Miniatures magazines. She has exhibited work at the The Andy Warhol Museum, the Chicago International Miniature Show, the Penland Gallery & Visitors Center and the Midwest Museum of American Art. Brooke is a member of the International Guild of Miniature Artists where she has taught miniature painting and was awarded Fellow status as well as an independant study grant. She has been an instructor at Penland School of Crafts,Touchstone Center for Crafts and looks forward to teaching at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts this Summer. She has illustrated three children’s book for Herald Press.
